Am I the only one who thought it was absolutely awful?

The visual style is massively overdone and the whole thing feels ostentatious to the point where I find it impossible to take seriously.

The narrative feels like it was written by a 13 year old, the characters are unrealistic and shallow, the concept of the strong feminine savior from a broken home is overdone. Melodramatic can't even begin to describe the dialog, as it is almost humorous how incredibly fake everything sounds.

The animation is clearly done in flash and is so damn bad it made me regurgitate some eggs Benedict. The acting, ho boy the acting is what makes it, its almost as if they went to the bus stop and picked up a bunch of heroin addicts and asked them to be in their *beep* web tv show. I actually bursted out laughing when the dad and the mom were arguing in the first episode as it came off as a community theatre reading of a soap opera.

The concept is *beep* the acting is *beep* the animation is *beep* the characters are *beep* the directing gave me motion sickness,

basically there are no redeeming qualities to this whatsoever and it deserves a much lower rating then it currently has

No, it's definitely stupid. It's a little girl running around killing guys. I guess you're supposed to think it's awesome because of feminism and all that crap, but it's just stupid.

reply

I'm ok with the visuals. I assume they don't have a budget and this is just the best they can do.

Isn't the narrative supposed to sound like a 13 year old girl?

Is the girl even supposed to be a hero? Anti-hero? She seems more like a psychothic serial killer.

The acting is indeed bad. Some of it may be from bad scripting and directing, but these aren't good actors.

I think the concept is ok. It's just that the main character isn't sympathetic.

No, any sensible intelligent person would agree with you.

This may be the most retarded thing I've ever seen, keeping in mind that I worked in a State School for 4 years. But at least the retarded people were genuine (indeed incapable of such fumbling pretentiousness).

reply

I was ok with it. Until the second episode. She total leads this guys on. Then tells him he has a small dick and then he gets pissed and pulls a knife and she kills him. WTF. LAME.

reply

I agree, I wanted to give it a chance, it looks like some hard work was put into this. But second episode...I was like what the heck, don't wear a street walker outfit if you don't want guys going after you.

Also I'm sick of that intro quote thing "little girls, dreams etc"...It's not that great or poignant.

reply

No, this is a *beep* horrible series. The only reason it's popular is because "OMG KEWL FIGHT SCENES" and the fact that it's on the internet.

The acting is terrible. The plot is terrible. The animation segments is terrible and the camera work is terrible. Ed wood could do a better film.

I have to disagree with all of you. This is a really entertaining, interesting film/series whatever the hell it is. It is way more better than the crap mainstream hollywood produces. Case in point "Hairspray, The sisterhood of the traveling pants, etc." Really, people want to see this boring crap. Well except for The Dark Knight, that movie was *beep* awesome. Well anyways, screw you guys, i'm going home. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
