Is it just me or is Dan Chupong trying to be the new Tony Jaa

Dan Chupong is a mediocre actor who thinks he can compete against the likes of Tony Jaa, Dan's ability is avarage he uses the slow motion camera technique to try and emphasise his ability but slow motion just shows in more detail the flaws in his acting, Dan please stick to low budgt Asisn movies and leave the serious action scenes in this genre to Tony Jaa

Actually Mr. Chupong is trying to be the next Panna Rittikrai, and Born To Fight 2003 was totally awsome.

Tony jaa kicks so much more ass. i just started watching and all the blows administered seem fake. I haven't seen some move that looked like it would actually mess someone up. It is so fake i am not sure i can continue watching.

reply

Umm it's not like it's his choice what he does.
Yea he's not as good as Tony Jaa.
But give him a break, holy *beep*
It's not like he decides when to put slow motion into certain shots. And whatever. Acting flaws? wtf, who cares. It's asian cinema, who watches this movie to see the best actors in the world? Nobody. Who watches it to see guys getting the *beep* kicked out of them? Everyone. SO *beep* stop being such toys.

Happy *beep* Day Ass Mouth!

and what are you trying to suggest about asian cinema?

It's like Bruce Lee vs. Sonny Chiba back in the day. Watch bruce lee if you want to see the best martial arts, watch Sonny Chiba if you want to see a really talented martial artist with lots of blood, fun B movie type lines, and overall a more entertaining film. Personally I like both styles.

Seeing that most hero are dead, from the likes of Steven Seagal and Jean Claude Van Damme, there is more then enough place for Dan Chupong and Tony Jaa.

I hope that we will be seeing a lot more of Tony Jaa in the future because he is the number one up to date.

But there are tones of amazing martial artist that deserve to be noticed.

I really like Donnie Yen in Killzone another great movie.

I thought Tony Jaa was trying to be the new Jackie Chan.

to tell you the truth, after watching tony jaa, i dont wana see another american-made fighting movie... they just all seem so bad......... watch ong bak and go watch the fight seen in the matrix....just so so bad....

firstly, why does everyone think that a movie came from thailand gona copy tony jaa movies. i believe this movie follow more on the line of kungfu hustle with the martial genre moving from kungfu to thai boxing, the over the top action and ridiculously stupid humor shouldve given you a hint or 2, also the timeline is shifted to close to that timeframe too. It like everyone expect everything coming from thailand to be tony jaa only or something. -_-;;;;;. it a decent movie, weak storyline but still better then steven seagal/ vandam stuff.

i didnt realise if any martial arts movie is ever released it has to star tony jaa.

u should let jet li and jackie chan know the only chinese martial artist is bruce lee, i think theyve been under the delusion they can also be actors who do martial arts. sad fools.

also, dont blame an actor for the directors job. it makes you seem slow. unless the actor was the director, which i never looked up because im not really so caught up in the movie, unlike yourself.
