Can the vines actually be removed from the body?

Is it even possible? I don't know if the leg amputation of that guy actually worked and Stacy went to the desperate point of cutting her body up left right and center.

Amy had them is the end and she died full o vines that the hospital at home could not get out .. cause she flowers in her grave later

they are blood vines so no they leave their spores in your bloodstream

There are anti-plant drugs, but they are also chemicals that could kill a human. I don't think a Hospital would of drugged a patient with weed killer.
