when stacy? starts cutting herself up to get the vines out from under her skin do you think that is part of how the plant works. That it causes creepy sliter underskin to make the animal start gnawing at itself until it kills itself?
shareNo. I think she was just freaking out about having the things in her and she just kept wanting to get them out. Like how you might feel about having a cancer in you, if you could cut it out you would, or in my case the antibodies that have messed up my immune system, I wish I could just cut them out!
Of course I haven't read the book so I don't know if there's a more in depth answer.
Yes she was feaking out. If it was happening to a dog don't you think it would start gnawing holes in itself. "Stacy you can't keep cutting". That's exactly my point.
