What were they saying?

It's been nearly a decade since I last saw this (or even heard about it, quite honestly). As an American, I remember when Nickelodeon hyped this film up for what seemed like months, playing ads for this at least once every commercial break. We weren't really exposed to thick British accents, and us American middle schoolers had zero idea what the characters were saying half the time.

In the commercials that would play over and over and over and over and over and over again, I remember one character saying something like: "They're lush! Poooor! Let's boy stalk this time!" And everyone at school would be like "no, THIS is what they're saying" followed by "no, THIS is what they're saying". Nobody had a clue what they were saying. Of course, we were like 9 or 10 at the time, but we never had this much trouble deciphering Harry Potter or Mary Poppins. So, what were they saying?
