In Sweeney Todd? surely not. The movie is word for word exact to the stage musical. No songs were missing
shareWord for word exact to the stage musical? What short-ass stage musical did you see? You didn't miss "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd" anywhere? "Ah Miss"? "Kiss Me"? The use of a chorus in "God, That's Good!", or the entire bit about Sweeney's chair for that matter? The ending is also slightly different in the film, as Toby doesn't speak anymore. I'm not saying either version is superior (although, if you'd ask me, I'd say the stageplay is an obvious winner, if only because I actually found it very hard to see past the past roles of a lot of the actors.), but they're obviously quite different.
