why did the hitman take off bullet proof vest?
I don't care how difficult it is to breathe, if I knew I was a marked man, I would leave the GD vest ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sharethe fibers have been ruined and the vest would not be working anyway

The bullets didn't get through, but their momentum did. This would have been worse than being hit by a sledgehammer, so their would be bruising and tearing internally. Perhaps the chest's expansion against a heavy and inflexible vest would generate unbearable pain?
