Was Ellen in love with Daphne?

After watching the scene when Daphne and Ellen kiss at the hotel room, and Ellen saying she felt guilty I didn't quite understand the reason. Was she in love with Daphne too, but didn't want to admit her feelings towards her?

No, she feels guilty because she DOESN'T love her. Ellen is portrayed as the kind of person, who tries to indulge other people's whims all the time. And she is upset that she can't respond to Daphne's feelings ("perhaps, if I could change my hormones, I would feel differently").
