Yeah sorry but her character is pretty boring and a little chiche I really wish the twins would've killed her,maybe in the third season they will kill her off that would be nice.

It would actually be nice to see Revy put Balalaika in her place once and for all.

I started to like her in Second Barrage. She's badass even more so than Revy and Roberta. Put her in her Desert Storm days and she'll be a female Chuck Norris. Also there DOES need to be less of her and more Eda. She rules.

I was worried all the way that the twins would get to her.

Seriusly? BORING?

She and her army buddies is one of the best part of the show.

The "what a shoddy gun" sequence, the part where she edits porno movies, the were she confront one of the twins, where she's holding a gun at Rock.

She's *beep* awsome.

I know I'm bumping a topic that died months ago but I just started watching Black Lagoon and all I can say is, Word ^

Balalaika is nothing short of terrifying. I wasn't sure where I placed her in terms of bad-assary until she encounters the boy at the beginning of the second season.

I thought Revy was merciless but Balalaika is stone f-cking cold.

i was thinking she was going to get it in japan from that guy with the sword.

I think at some point she is going to be killed but not by revy (just a hunch on my part)

Killing's too good for Balalaika. The Lagoon Company should get hold of evidence that she used poison gas on civilians in Afghanistan or blew off kids' hands with "toy bombs." The last we'd see of her, she'd be in handcuffs and being hauled off to a war crimes tribunal in the Hague. :D

She is the freaking leader of the Russian Mafia, and she was like intense military back in the day, killing her would be impossible and make the whole show boring, I mean once the cold heartless bitch is dead, who else would make things interesting. and don't say Chin cause he's too much of a nice guy

Balalaika was awesome, one of the most impressive and interesting characters in the series. She might even have been my favorite character. I don't know how you could call her boring.
