I haven't noticed. IIRC the way of speaking they use in Japanese is much more polite than in the English (dubbed) version.

Because in the japanese version she also curses a lot.
In the end, this is an anime, where the english version makes more sense since she is supposed to be speaking english just like everybody there, but of course its an anime, so everybody is speaking english
