Out on a limb....

Just going to stick my neck out here and speculate that this one might have hope of getting the "so bad it's good" motif correct. I could see it being really funny.

Maybe.

Why else would they think of making a sequel? The first one was a total moral leper.

I have a feeling this one might be worthwhile. I think it's the first time a spoof-show like MST3k actually breathed life into a horrible, rightfully forgotten film that actually inspired a sequel by its original makers even! With that in mind, it HAS to be more targeted for the So-bad-its-good crowd, and hopefully provide more of what we want in this sort of thing.

I could imagine them coming out with a PRINCE OF SPACE 2 or a MOROZKO 2 in the future, as filtered through the post-MST3kificated lens. ...like a LASERBLAST 2 where the hero destroys STAR WARS signs every chance he gets... that sort of thing.

It was exactly how you described it it was so good but it was bad! LOL

I enjoyed it, but it's not as good as the first Hobgoblins. I really felt Rick could have come up with some original material than recycling alot from the first movie.

You'll still enjoy it if you're a Rick Sloane fan.

Yeah I agree. It's more of the same but the first one is still entertaining. This one had a few funny moments but it was pretty excruciating to get to the end
