Where in Morocco was this movie filmed, I am looking for the mountain(s) you see in the distance when they are standing around the jeep?

Those are the Atlas Mountains.

What area of the Atlas Mountains do you think it was filmed near?

The base camp was set up in Ouarzazate and pretty much all locations were in the surrounding mountains - up to a 3 to 4 hour drive from base.

I am trying to find the *exact* location, not really concerned about the mountain. I am trying to find those upright stones that are in the foreground of the image I posted.

the GPS coordinates are for the viewpoint which seems to match, not the mountains.

though this could be the location to, given that its next to the highway:

30°46'54.63"N 6°41'28.51"W

I believe the crew just put the larger stones on end in that shot to create an unnerving visual image
