Whyever did they ... (SPOILER)

... decide to telegraph the final twist ten minutes into the film??

"Owl Creek Prison". Really. And driving home the same point nearer the end when Frank is reading Ambrose Bierce's short story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge". Could have lived with the later clue but the first one rained on my parade considerably.

The performances were impeccable though. Damian Lewis' Rizza was blood-freezingly chilling. Is there anything this man can't do? Best of all he doesn't need to gain umpty pounds of weight or attach ridiculous rubber pieces to his face to do it. He does it all ... I don't know how he does it, actually, but he does.
