thanks for not being a smartass and giving me a real answer.

on the topic of this movie though I dont think I would want to watch a 4 hour torture movie. I mean I usually do watch movies similar to this, but 4 hours of it is a lot to sit through.

Nah, Visions of Suffering was way more entertaining.

Though the whole point of THIS film was to not be entertaining, apparently. So, uh, yeah, I don't know who to reccomend this to.

I'd just netflix it...

I'm just saying, it may be wise to rent this movie first before buying the double disc set. I can't really see this film being up many people's alleys, like it or not.

I actually bought the movie (2 disc) just yesterday off of Amazon. I haven't gotten it yet and I haven't seen it either. I've only read about it. One day I was looking on the Asian Cult Cinema website and this caught my eye. I read about it on Amazon and a few other reviews too and just decided to buy it. I didn't buy it because it's some "torture porn" flick. My friends used to make fun of me for liking movies such as Ichi the Killer and going on about how I love torture porn. I hate torture porn (although I do enjoy some exploitation flicks.) I love movies that use violence for a purpose, and it's often mistaken. I do, however, know my tastes in movies and can confidently buy a movie without having ever heard of it. I like the movies I choose nine times out of ten. I used to watch movies and buy them, but now, I don't buy movies I've seen.
