Hey i just came across this movie when i was looking at the Cannibal Holocaust boards...im somewhat confused if this is a movie or a documentary...is it actual scenes from historical video of what took place? or are the scenes all acted out? everywhere i look it says that its a combo of documentary and Hollywood movie (so to speak)and Im somewhat confused how it could be both

The guy gets wolfier.
It's a crummy horror movie masquerading as a documentary. The filmakers come on at the start and say that the "film" is about war but, IMHO, that's nonsense.
In fact, the real story of the Japanese "expermentation" on human beings was so much more hideous and such a nadir in the history of civilization that, for me, the "film" stands as an insult to the memory and the unknown people who were totured and killed there.
I wish I had never paid to see it because I thereby supported the desacration.
