Remake of Men Behind The Sun?

Having not seen this ... everything im reading seems to indicate this is just a Revision to Men Behind The Sun by Mou Tun Fei. Or is this just more of a continuation of it?

I had to watch both films, among others, for a film project. They are both films about historical events that took place at Unit 731. That does not make PoaK a "revision," just a film about the same historical subject matter. However, the two films handle the subject very differently, and honestly, I would argue that neither is a very good movie.

You're a sexual Disneyland.

Men Behind The Sun lacks the harsh soundtrack and some of the sensationalism found in POAK; but frankly, that made it far better and much more disturbing.

Although I have to agree with Kragey, neither movie is extremley informative or entertaining. My suggestion is to find a legitimate documentary on the subject, and simply ignore this arthouse crap.

I haven't seen this one, but "Men Behind the Sun", being not an enterteinment film, IMHO it was a good film, for a low-budget, 80's, chinese film.
It even has some descriptions that are accurate (introduction, conclusion, some of the atrocities happened IRL). I didn't like all the "hype" of the corpses and animal abuse, but it's a disturbing STORY.

I don't know about this one, I'm gonna see it anyways, I hope is not as bad as they said.

Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language.
