Naive

Is it me or is this one of the most naive doc you've ever seen?

They learned to use a fake ID from Michael Moore's movie?
Seriously?
Apparently most teenagers are more street smart than these guys.

I was waiting for them to start chanting "Truth will set you free."

reply

When they say that they learned to make fake ID's (to get into the presentation that Mr. Moore was giving) from the movie roger and me, it was just a simple way showing the hypocrisy that they found with Moore. The point that they make is that moore can do that to gain access to GM, but when some Canadians do that to him, it is wrong in moore's eyes. It just shows the double standard he works by.

reply

Ah!! They feigned naivity. This is a better explanation.
They were so devious that they were erecting a facade of ignorance.
Oh we were his greatest fans.
Oh how could he cut things out of context.
Oh how could he back stab Nader.

How naive of me. They got me.

Have in mind that this movie is made by republican conservatives...

reply

See... I didn't think they were right wing conservatives.
That's why I figured they were naive, and not particularly great doc makers.

Although, they could be far left purist activists.
They could think that Moore double crossed Nader.
Who knows?

reply

You haven't even seen the movie, have you? The filmmakers are CANADIANS!!!!!

There is no Republican party in Canada!

reply

There isn't a Republican Party in Canada but there are people who lie right-of-center and are political conservatives.
