Does any one know exactly when this comes out? I wish this movie was out now, it looks really good... Anyone practice sword martial arts in Seattle? I'm looking for a group.

I think they're looking for it to be released Spring/Summer of 2008

If anything, It'll be in limited release, then probably picked up by The History Channel (IF THEY ARE SMART).

Agreed, this will be the one documentary I'm looking forward to be released as well.

I used to practice at boar's tooth fight school- The Boar’s Tooth is one of seven European HEMA groups featured in the up coming Galatia film. Watch out for David Rawlings if they show much of him you'll see someone who can fight!

Do we have a clue as to when this is coming out yet? Will the UK release be later than the US?

Everything I've seen and heard is very impressive. Galatia Films paired up with WETA and Skywalker Sound. They have interviews with Viggo Mortenson and Karl Urban, and also with the behind the scenes crew of Lord of the Rings.

It's kind of like the LOTR extended documentaries on steroids. And did you hear the clip of that soundtrack?
