Paco: Badgers? We don't need no steenking badgers!

Followed later by...

Ian: Maybe we should wear badges so they'll know we're not zombies.

Paco: Badges?! [pause] Well, actually that's a pretty good idea.

Any zombie flick that references Treasure of the Sierra Madre is all right.

Plus the girls quoting Nietzsche all the time.

Movie I went to see on this date

Line cut from the movie:

Paco sees the living zombie head, goes into Ian's office and starts guzzling tequila and stuffing cigarettes in his mouth.

Ian: You should cut down, get some of those nicotine patches.
Paco: Patches? Patches!? We don't need no stinking patches!

Long live DVD deleted scenes and/or director's cuts!

You know, I watched the film thinking it would be mildly amusing trash, but it has to be one of the best bad films I've ever seen and a fantastic horror comedy. I just pretty much laughed all the way through.

And yeah any B movie that references Sierra Madre and quotes niche is something special. Lol. Definitely a classic.

I loved the part when Lillith and the other stripper took Robert Englunds character to the backroom for a private show and Lillith say Face Dance and you see her remove her thong panties and when it hits the wall it just splashes because they are so wet and you see Robert Englund cringe in terror. LOL That was so Hysterically funny to watch!

When Rob England proved he was a card carrying member of the NRA by pullin one out. Then moments later he says he "heard something about a safety being off in a movie once" WHich I took as a homige to the dawn of the dead remake.
I thought the set up and deliver was cool.

There were more funny moments than expected. I pay-per-viewed this the other night, expecting disappointment. But I was actually very entertained.

"Lt Rycker here killed Satan himself with a sharp stick" was my favorite line.

When Ian says "the law says I can have them not that I need to know how to use them"

reply

The Nietzsche stuff was gold.

Also, the stripper fight - billiard balls particularily - just about falling off the couch.

reply

Just about every line to come out of Robert Englunds mouth was hilarious, I watched this movie with a few friends and we always choose the character most like us and I was totally Robert, I wanted to cry from laughing when he was about to get attacked by the zombies and was like 'I just suck, don't I.' The way he said it and his face just put me in hysterics.

The janitor with his pet donkey. When the new girl from Nebraska shows up and they ask her all those questions..."eat a lot of corn?"
The acting
This movie turned out to be a lot better then it looked

reply

What about when the guy is putting singles in front of the goth stripper. Then you see him putting wads of cash, then writing a personal check, that was pretty funny.

As someone else mentioned, Paco naming his 5th bullet Cinqo de Mayo before his last stand.

Also that guys "months of planning part"

The reference to "The Warriors" just before the ping-pong/billiards balls tricks.

Any film with zombies, naked strippers and a reference to a cult classic is okay in my book.

reply

I know! I can't believed nobody has mentioned the reference to "The Warriors" yet. That totally cracked me up!
