I think this movie actually is good. I have through that you have said and I agree with you completely. For under the time management and low budget it is a good movie. The story is interesting too. The audio did most up a little, but it still doesn't take away from the movie.I'm sorry that people are bashing they should try making their own movie.
Squallz10, you're as wrong as the video game series you take your name from; (Monster Rancher)
this movie was so horrible i wanted to bash my head against my hardwood floor till i couldn't feel feelings anymore. it was inexcusably bad, it made me menstruate from every orifice.
No splintercell samfisher you are wrong the game you took your name from.(Grand Theft Auto). The movie does have rich quality to it. I believe it could become cult hit. It already is by the matter of fact. I bet you in the future it would be seen as a great movie.
the only future in which this movie could be seen as great is the same future in which Kevin Costner is running around with gills trying to get dirt to trade like it was platinum.
What's wrong with you waterworld is an amazing movie. That story is rich too. You're just mad since you know the time it took it would take to develop that movie would be too hard for you.
i come up with more creative ideas when i spend my daily four hours crying alone at the public library since i can't afford a computer at home, which is non existent.
first off splintercell your bashing this kid for no reason...
so what he likes the movie! big deal...does not mean yous hould make fun of him for it...
im not taking sides...squalz10 or whatever the hell your name is...i bash this movie because it has terrible effects and terrible acting and terrible editing and terrible way to start out a movie!!!
i would have started out that they were always in war and the movie should start out with them already attaking the robots/...think about...it has been 300 years and now they strike...aand also....they still exist...after 300 years the robots still havent taken over!
another reason this was bad because the sound was tottally off...and the fact that there was only a group of people left in the world and not a whole civilization...yet most of them being girls...
PS: after 300 years you would think that the graffiti on the wall at the begining of the movie would have been skuffed scathed wet messy and hard to read...
that is why this movie was bad...but if you wanna watch it...go ahead... to the other guy....leave him alone
Dude its obvious the robots are like the aliens from signs. They have to do certain procedures first okay? Come on they are A.I. not idiots. Their plan is to weaken them first. So then after three hundred freaking years they can finally have the final battle while they completely cut off humans from upper earth. So for 300 HUNDRED YEARS they lived in middle earth casting spells so they can stay alive and nourish for so long. Its completely logical.
"That is a jackass comment and offensive to not just me as a filmmaker, but any person who understands the world or has been a victim of terrorism.
Take your twelve year old self serious and apologize."
speaking of apologizing..when are YOU gonna offer an apology for not only making an abomination of a movie, but trying to justifying your incompetence,,AND above it all, expect US to actually PAY to see it.its not even worth downloading it for free.
I once read on an online IMDb forum that the movie "Transmorphers" was worse than terrorism. When the director of the movie found out, he messaged back that this statement was offensive to him as a film maker. There were many things wrong with the movie. In fact, the only things that they did right were stolen from other movies. Ultimately, it was a stolen plotline from "Terminator" that doesn't even incorporate any cool mind-boggling time traveling. Instead, it involves the worst acting I have ever seen, and I've seen some bad acting (ie, Shia LeBeouf). There was no emotion played into the movie, there were no fleshed out characters, and from the fact that every shot was terrible, one would take a guess and say that they never filmed any second takes. Nothing was thought out (I'm thinking specifically of the scene where one character found cover on one side of a cement barrier, while another character took cover on the other side of the exact same barrier). I heard another rumour that this movie's audio went out of sync part way through, but this is wrong. Instead of the audio being out of sync part way through, the audio chooses random scenes to get out of sync. This gives me the slight suspicion that the audio of this movie wants to be far away from being associated with the video was possible. That's how bad it was. In my high school English class I learned about Deux Ex Machina (the act of bringing in a solution to the problem without forshadowing it whatsoever). I thought this was dead, but I managed to find it disease ridden throughout the movie. It did, however, have some forshadowing in it, but it was so obvious that the movie could have been written by a Leper Pirate Zombie from "the Fog". I could easily get into the gritty details of how it was raining 24/7 on Earth until they defeated the machines, or the fact that often the acting placed on the guns was out of sync with the special effects blaster shots and the audio as well, or I could get into the fact that for some strange reason, everything that was said seemed to be spoken in a provocative tone (even the line "Oooh... failure"). There was only one redeeming factor in this movie: the fact that I have now seen the worst death scene ever filmed (though I hesitate to use the word "film" because it brings an incorrect idea that this movie even deserves a "film" status). To add to the overwhelming failure that was "Transmorphers," every so often, the music became so blaringly loud that no one can even hear the voices (not that I was missing much). This seems to give the idea that the movie wasn't even looked over before it was sent to publishing. Ultimately, I began watching this movie to get a laugh at how terrible it was, but about an hour into the movie, I began to feel depressed about the fact that I was watching the death of film. I used to have order to my list of least-favourite-movies, I had "the Mist", "Holes", and "Sidekick." However, this movie blasted them all apart to take its place as not only my least favourite movie I have ever seen, but as the WORST movie I have ever seen. I often like to associate films with paintings. If someone does not like an incredibly good movie, I wonder in my head if they would ever burn the Mona Lisa too. This movie has done more harm to films than any critic who enjoyed "Norbit" or hated "the Shawshank Redemption." This movie is not worse than terrorism, it IS terrorism. Director Leigh, this statement should not be offensive to you as a film maker because this movie is offensive to films.
I almost want to watch this again, The copy we rented started to skip tword the end, but I did not think anything of it, until one of my friend was making fun of a part were they had flying motorcycles. He said on the long shots it was some grey blob with a stick a figure falling off of it. I guess the copy we had, managed to skip past it. But the audio... why is it dubbed?? Did the sound guy goof up? Cause at first I thought it was out of sync, but it totally sounds and feels dubbed, you never hear foot steps or anything.
the movie was anythig but good...it was horrific..i tried o watch this ...but i couldnt...i xkipped a couple of scenes...the battle scenes were terrible...who shoots a gun lke that...i can deffanitley do better
dont correct my spellng errors...my key baord is hard to type with right now ...since i am at the school
dude...it wasnt good at all..and besides...they are doing this with every blockbuster hit...take a good movie try to remake it but crappier....here are some examples
1.transmorphers...transformers
2.snakes on a train...snakes on a plane
3.the davinci treasure...davinci code
4.i am omega... i am legend
5.just recently...trhe monster...cloverfield
6.the invasion of the pod people...invasion of the body snatchers...
these were all done by asylum productions...and they all suck
First of all i only watched 3min and 38sec of this movie and boy can I tell you. Not worth my time. The acting was *beep* the production desing was *beep* the plot is crapy. And yess this is not a low budget B movie. it was a very *beep* low budget D movie. And I'm the one that look for Indy movies as a passion. Never again will i even atempt to watch a spin off movie ever again. It is worse then the *beep* that they play on the SCI-FI channel. Transformers is the better movie by far. Thank you Come Again! Now to finish the stupid ass movie.
squallz10/SPLINTERCELL_SAMFISHER and whomever else you're pretending to be, just a question of curiosity. Do you have Chronic Schizophrenia, or are you just trying to entertain yourselves? (yourselves lol you see what i did there?)
Just for the record Asylum productions is actually a real terrorist cell, and this movie is yet another violent attack by them on the movie goers free world. Best defence against such terrorism is to simply download all your movies via the net, those that you like support by buying them on dvd (or seeing them in the cinema). The one good thing about garbage movies like this is that they cause more people to download and judge for themselves before buying/supporting the film industry. In some ways a sad reality, but it's true.
I confess I love Asylum films, I hate them but I love them we watch all we can when they are shown on freeview and laugh ourselves silly. I even got mum to watch Sharknado as she loves Jaws and certainly Jaws it was not but anything that can have me and my other half ripping through such crud late in the evening has got to be worth it. If I want to watch an intelligent film I always have Ice Cold In Alex, The Quiller Memorandum and a lot of European heavy weight films, but at 9 or 1o at night bring these on I want to see the worst they can do!
"Guess I'm not concerned enough about getting away with it."
No, splinter cell and I checked out this movie to laugh, but we ended up having to turn it off since we couldn't even laugh at it. We read all the posts concerning the how bad was the movie and how the director commented on a lot of it. We just wanted him to talk to us. :( but he ignored every single comment we made.
Wow, a reply after 3 months lol, I barely remember making that post. Well thanks for clearing things up. I wasn't sure if you and splinter were the same person or not.
I agree Transmorphers wasn't very good, most films by Asylum are fairly poor, but I like bad movies. Transmorphers 2 was a big improvement, I'd actually watch that one again, but part one, just gives me a headache (Sorry Leigh). Pirates of Treasure Island, Sex Pot and Hillside Cannibals are probably the only 3 Asylum film that my friends will watch with me.
Best thread on IMDB EVER! lmao im dying over here. yeah i know im like 2 months late.... lol.... But yeah.... Horrible garbage movie, couldnt breath half the movie because I was laughing too hard. ____________________________ "What are you doing?" "I'm doing this jerkoff's taxes!" LMAO
I forgot about this. I just wished the director didn't ignore us. I haven't seen part two, but with all the BS people gave him, I'm sure he tried his best.
I doubt DrictorLeigh is ignoring you, he responds to many positive and negative posts here. I'm sure he's a busy man, and can't possibly have time to respond to everyone on IMDB. And I don't blame him if he does ignore several posts...there are a lot of a$$holes how come down on him here, that I wouldn't have the time of day for if I were him. I really respect him for coming here and talking to his fans, I think it's great. Not enough celebs talk to their fans on IMDB, I've only come across a handful of celebs here. And I am on IMDB quite a bit too.
As for transmorphers 2, it was pretty decent, but Leigh didn't direct the second one. Scott Wheeler was the director of part 2.
I don't need to be able to make a better movie to know this one is awful. Featuring a budget of tens of dollars, it provided employment for a cluster of people with zero acting skill, a script that is weak and cliche, sets that look like a high school film project. editing that is an example of a first attempt. Directing that was uneven and looked like a first attempt. CG effects that can be equalled in an average home computer. This one hurt to watch.
