The way you wrote you statement just shows your big intellect and I do not want to go down to such a deep level. I think this is one of the greatest movies ever made in Germany because it has a lot of funny parts but also a story and is not to compare to other productions like "7 Zwerge" or "Der Wixxer".

Just one thing i want to reply to you. If you hate everybody whose seen it, wouldnt that include yourself?

I completely agree with you, but how can you compare "Der Wixxer" to "7 Zwerge"? Of course "7 Zwerge" was bad, "Der Wixxer" however wasn't and part two was even better :-)

You are absolutely right my friend. Keinohrhasen is one of the best german movies ever. And that is the reason why im trying to discover a way to spread the rage virus all over the country.

You think German movies couldnt get any weirder? Watch this one. Til Schweiger at his best.

I also disliked quite a few things about this movie, but you know you're not making sense, right? First of all, nationality doesn't have anything to do with this whatsoever. Your being German has no relation to this movie being from Germany. And you trying to guard your criticism by writing that it applies to anyone who replies is a very cheap shot, only surpassed by the utter nonsense you write about people who like this movie. But, still, you shouldn't hate yourself just because you have seen a movie that turned out not to be after your taste.

You're ashamed of your cultural heritage because of a movie, yet you tell others they should grow up - very mature on your part.
Liking something is subjective and everyone should be entitled to decide what they like and what not. If you did not like the movie that is for you to decide. But do not bash a whole culture based on a small thing like a movie. Plus, you said you hated the movie, but did not even give a reason as to why that is. Great argumentative skills, I must say...
I suggest that the next time you feel the need to recommend a movie with the level of sophistication which you have demonstrated in your review and in your replies to other users, feel free to tell it to someone who cares.
You spoke of 'your good manners[which] forced you to sit through it', yet your so-called manners did not tell when you should say something and when you should better be silent. I sincerely think that you are the one that needs to grow up.

One last thing: you feel ashamed to be German, but you cannot even properly write in the language of the nationality you are oh so ashamed of.....I think stupidity has reached a new low.

maybe you dont catch the ironic tone, i dont assume hes literally ashamed to be german! at least hes right, this movie sucks, maybe there are some worse productions from germany (somebody mentioned "haialarm auf mallorca"), which was a only a straight to TV production! (btw there are alot of awful german movies)!
it dont see why an awful movie, like every movie from uwe boll, gets an rating which secures a sunny place in the bottom 100's list forever and this terrible movie is rated that good!
maybe the fact of a) being male, b) having a humor which developed from tom & jerry times! (i dont think its funny for an adult if somebody is stepping on a rake and the stick is hitting in her face!

Look,you didn't like the movie, other people did. Everyone is entitled to an opionion,including you; except,that you don't need to be that aggressive to people just because they don't share your view. If you think that the movie was that bad (I assume you are basing this statement on your great knowledge of the cinema business, making movies,writing scripts, etc) I can barely wait to see your own production- I'm sure it will get all the Oscars!
So,unless you can hold a normal, civilised discussion about this or any other movie, I suggest you go and release your aggressiveness and frustration(and there seems to be a lot of it built up) somewhere else...boxing might be worth a try.

I can understand, that you hate people who think, that "Keinohrhasen" is one of the best German movies ever.
I´ve seen a lot of movies from Tykwer, Murnau, Lang and so on.
And I still think, that "Metropolis" is the best German movie ever made until today.
But for me "Keinohrhasen" is also one of the best German movies ever.
Movies has always someting to do with personal feelings.
And one of the reasons for watching movies is entertainment. This should in my opinion never be the only reason. For me a movie can have such a intellectual theme, but if it´s not entertaining me anyway I have no reason to title it good.
"Keinohrhasen" is not an intellectual movie but it´s really great entertainment for me and many other people who have seen it.
Some scenes made me laugh and in the same moment nearly cry, so the movie touched me.
Because of that, "Keinohrhasen" is for me one of the best German movies ever. May everybody thing what he or she want!

I agreeeeeeeeee!!!! It's not the worst German movie ever made but it sucked. Why does everybody seem to love it? Do that many Germans go to the movies only once a year and watch stupid reality or casting shows? Because if they didn't, they wouldn't consider Keinohrhasen a good movie!!!

And I have to say this: Not only did T.S. do a terrible job in directing this movie, but he also is a terrible actor. In fact he is no actor at all, he only knows to play himself.

A movie doesn't have to be "sophisticated" for me to like it, but seriously, a kindergarten teacher who says PIMMEL and gets hit by a plank of wood???? So not funny.

Unlike mischi3001, I'm afraid that Keinohhasen won't be forgotten in a couple of years...

If you liked it, your either part of it and need to be beaten in public or you just don't know anything about movies and never will because you regularly watch Verbotene Liebe.
If you want to reply on something said here.....then it clearly applies to you....God, I hate this movie and everybody whose seen it....

Es tut mir leid dass ich das sagen muss, aber du bist ein aggressiver, selbstgerechter, arrogant-elitärer Hassbolzen und Spaßbremse.

Filme wie Keinohrhasen haben ebenso ihre Existenzberechtigung wie Schuh des Manitu, Das Leben der Anderen, Dumm und Dümmer, Lost in Translation oder Full Metal Jacket.

Hat dich irgendjemand gezwungen, ins Kino zu gehen und Keinohrhasen anzugucken?
Hast du ihn überhaupt angeschaut? Falls ja, dann müsstest du dich ja selbst hassen, LOL.
Oder kritisierst du nur auf der Basis anderer Reviews? Bravo.
