Extremes here, Hate it or Love/Like it and as many people for each side

I just saw this movie and I liked it. Nothing irritated me and I have seen PLENTY of movies in general and Gay movies that are SO BAD, I want to scream and I fast forward through certain bad acting or boring scenes.
But not this one. Not at all.
The valley "like" and "ya know" I didn't even notice.
And no it didn't seem SO BAD writing that it was by a 12 year old wrote the script.

And since there are those that liked it fine, I am not thinking I missed it or am wrong. I'm right for me.
I didn't think the end was depressing! Trevor and Efram (sp?) go their separate ways. But Trevor seems ok not depressed, with his quote from his father.

A little sad yes but Trevor learned, etc., and was a better, happier person than he was at the beginning of the movie!

I saw this movie twice and tried to sort through my feelings about it, then a third time many years later and I was like: Okay no...I hate this

For me this is an indie film that tries to aspire to be more than it is and may have been rushed. The only characters who seem well developed are Darrell and Ephraim. Trevor is just neurotic, but not lovable, the crasher (Trevor's other gay friend) is just as annoying as he is. Andie I actually cared a little more for, maybe it was her storyline that did it for her because otherwise, she's pretty forgettable

How does Trevor seem to have a job, we never see him on any calls? We never see Crasher on stage except once and I don't think he talked about going to any other shows or anything like that. His singing scene and Trevor's part in that scene I actually thought was pretty well done. That is one positive thing I have to say.

Other than that, I can't bring myself to like the film

Check out Shelter...that's a great one
