Anyone else creeped out by Ephraim?

There was just something in his eyes that said he's an overemotional control freak and when he accepted the position in NY before Trevor decided and then telling his later was a red flag and then at the end where he's trying to convince Trevor that change is good, you'll see and the look in his eyes. I dunno. Am I wrong? He was hot but he just gave me a creepy vibe.
