Cancer is NOT sexy

I have to admit I thought the film would explain the title, but for me, it didn't. I would like to know where the money came from to go to all these places. I thought maybe the film was funded, or did her parents help?

yeah, it obviously is not (and she knows it) but the title DOES get your attention. And it made me pick it up off the library shelf, curious enough to watch it. It's Marketing 101-- that's why Iron Man wasn't titled "some guy in a metal suit".

I am a cancer survivor and during my battle this book and movie were very inspirational to me. Kris explains her title Crazy Sexy Cancer and it makes perfect sense. It was her way at thumbing her nose at such a label as "cancer victim". I was also an oncology nurse for over 10 years and I can tell you from experience, the patients with a sense of humor and great determination did much better with their treatments.
Kris takes a live every day to the fullest approach and encourages others to do the same. I encourage you to read or watch it, with the mindset of someone that is facing a life threatening situation.
Please don't judge until you have walked in those shoes.
