'To Save The Network'

I didnt know if anyone else read the recent article in Entertainment Weekly detailing MTVs efforts to save and revamp their spiraling ratings but this show is highly toted as the saving grace. I'm not sure, and obviously I haven't seen it yet so it could be....i dunno this generation's 'My So Called Life'? But with a desperately hip sounding name like 'Kaya' weak premise, and marginal actors I cant say Im hopeful. I feel if they were to go in the scripted genre they would have been better off scouring for a Joss Whedon esque dramedy or found something completely out of the box, I mean you're freaking Mtv...wubba wubba man
