They're so bland and boring and uber-simple. Seems like Square has gone from one extreme to the other.
shareHmmmm, I wouldn't say they are boring, they're just not as definitive as previous FF characters (especially the girl characters, for some reason ). In my opinion Cloud will always be the best character created for the Final Fantasy series, hence the reason why the Ff7 Compilation is the most successful :)

I actually like the designs, especially Noctis's. It does looks like it's going to be a darker FF game, which is cool by the way.

Are characters supposed to have un-realistic pink hair and dress like they belong in a box of Fruit Loops to be considered "not bland?"

I like the character designs because the good guys wear black and the bad guys wear white. I guess what I'm saying is that the good guys look like bad guys while the bad guys look like the good guys. Does that make sense? Like, if you showed me pictures of all the characters in this game without telling me who's who I would've guessed that Stella was the protagonist of this game.
