I've never played a FF game or never been a fan of them, i never had anything against them is just not my style, but seeing videos and gameplay this game is intriguing me so damn much, do you guys think i will like this one since its much different than the older ones?
shareI've played a few of the previous editions, and this one does seem like its going to be a departure from the norm for the series, so maybe you should checkout one of the previous instalments - they should all be pretty cheap now to buy as well.
If you like general action adventure, third-person games, then you'd probably like this. But it's extremely heavy on the cut scenes and story development (not that you have to watch or follow it).
I've been playing Final Fantasy since Final Fantasy VII on PS1 and this is nothing like any before other than a few things thrown in so you know it's still a Final Fantasy game. Can't say I've noticed that many cut scenes like the previous post, if you like Skyrim, Dragon Age etc then you are probably going to enjoy it. I am personally loving it

I've been playing since the 4th game (2 in N. America), and have since gone back and played the ones I missed. This has elements and homages to the other games, but is completely different. Gone is the turn based, menu based combat. Replacing it is a combat system where you control the hero mostly, and can combo attacks with your party members, or cast or hack and slash. It's a tech heavy fantasy RPG, you still build levels, explore and gather treasure, but you do it in a 3rd person 3D world now.
