How Can I Watch My S2 Flawed DVDs - Please Help?

Hi -

A couple months ago I ordered S2 from Amazon and was jazzed to get it.

The discs weren't scratched but they would not play in my desktop, my laptop or my TV/DVD combo.

When I clicked on each episode on the disc, the music on the main menu would stop, as if the ep were going to play - and then nothing. Just back to the main menu.

Today, S2 finally came out in Australia (where I live). I was hoping that playing it in a PAL format instead of NTSC would make a difference.

Nope!

Same problem.

Did anyone else encouter this while trying to play S5? I tried both Cyberlink Power DVD 8 and Windows Media Player.

If anyone has a tip PLEASE, I'd really appreciate it as I'm very eager to watch the DVDs.

Also - This SAME thing happened when I tried to watch "Grey's Anatomy" S5, which is another ABC Studios production. Is it possibel that ABC/Disney releases their DVDs on a frequency that Cyberlink PowerDvd dowsn't recognise?
