'The Convertible' and Why do the cancel good shows?

Loved this episode. I had almost forgotten how much I love this show. I can't believe only two more episodes and then it's over.

I wish HBO would take on this show.

The convertible was truly a great episode. I loved it from start to finish!. I love the comedic edge in the show. The whole jet ride was hilarious, I loved seeing Nick, Karen and Brian interacting, very funny. This episode made me realize how much I love this show too!! Karen going to the sperm bank was funny. I love when Karen exclaims, "Karen darling is gonna have a baby!!" and then it cut to the main titles. I was like YES! Dirty Sexy Money is back! I never really liked the idea of Nick and Lisa splitting, but in this episode, I was rooting for Karen and hating Lisa! I'm so glad Nick and Karen are together. Karen needs someone like Nick to love her and take care of her. And they both seem happier together. Finally Nick was smiling in this episode, he was always so serious and grim in season 2. I was happy when Nick said he wanted to have a baby with her. When they kissed and a tear came down Karen's face, I really felt for her. But, In Dirty Sexy Money fashion, we found out Karen is pregnant with Simon's baby, great twist!! Everything had me hooked and eagerly wanting to see next weeks episode. ABC should be sued and ashamed that they canceled this show!!!!

I agree with almost every word (I've hated Lisa since episode 1), and will add that when the tear ran down Karen's face, I cried, too. I love everything about this show. It's campy and fun and heart-wrenching and exciting and touching and mysterious. It is so well-written and well-acted, and it is such a shame that we're going to be left dangling. :( I wish I had some pull with the studio -- I would so beg them to revive this show.

why do so many women always hate/jealous of Lisa for??

it's like women always identify with being the other woman taht is trying to steal another woman's husband or boyfriend more...

Some sort-of spoilers

I disliked Lisa's character from the very beginning. She was insecure and irritating. She had no problems living the lifestyle provided by Nick's job, but she complained about it constantly. Then she kept screwing around on Nick, and then apologized and acted like it was all his fault. She didn't take ANY responsibility for her actions. At the end of Season 2 I truly hated her character. As a married woman I found her behavior appalling. Even though they separated, that gave her NO right to act the way she did (the book, taking Kiki away with no notice, etc). When Nick would try to call her out on her absurd behavior, she turned it around and attacked Nick's character.

I always felt the chemistry between Nick and Karen, and I kept hoping they would end up together. They balanced each other out - he was grounded and she was flighty, but you could tell they deeply loved each other.

I actually liked Lisa. But I mostly loved her scenes with Jeremy. I like how they would banter with each other. But I liked Karen too. I thought Karen got better/funnier lines, and she delivered them well.

This is a great show, I just watched The Convertible it really is a fun show with a great cast. It really is a shame that another network doesn't pick it up. ABC Exec should all be fired shame on them.
