For some reason I just can't stand him, or his wife for that matter.. Just wondering whether many others feel the same?
shareLisa is rather annoying at times. I don't always agree with Nick, but I don't mind him, particularly. That said, he's definitely not my favorite character.
shareI don't mind Lisa, but I have come to loathe the smug, self-righteous suit that is Nick. He has no idea what he wants anymore. He WAS principled at one point, and able to distance himself from the Darlings somewhat. But now he's just an honorary family member.

I agree, I actually like Lisa, I think she was dealt a bad hand. Nick is a pompous, spoilt brat with zero personality and a bland imagination. A lawyer should be sharp, astute and canny, he is stupid!
shareI don't dislike Nick. I just think this is where the writers were sending the character. If the series had continued the temptation of all that money would have made some great storylines.
I am a Peter Krause fan so I enjoyed watching him.

He annoys me because he is so bluntly obvious about what he is trying to do...like every time he does something wrong he admits to it straight away...like when he admitted to taking the journal...wtf! He is a crap detective...he should get Veronica Mars on the case and she would know all about his father in one episode ;)

I agree...Nick has this pretentious sense of entitlement (Brian summed him up pretty well) and this aloof, bemused attitude that just annoys the hell outta me. I just don't buy him as a good guy, and the 'I'm-doing-this-for-charity' thing is pretty see-through for me.
Lisa is extremely similar, they belong with each other.
I just don't like the actor who plays Nick.
I started out liking him, as I'm sure a lot of people did, and slowly grew to hate him as he turned more and more into his father.
Like, specifically, when he accepted the executive job he wanted for Brian without a fight (the old Nick wouldn't have even considered it) and then left Lisa and hooked up with Karen, who I always hated.
I hate Lisa the most out of ever character in the show I'm surprised she didn't drive herself insane 99% of her lines had the word Darlings in it, it got old fast. I agree Nick's self righteous attitude did get a little annoying at times, there was a few episodes where he was a complete douche bag but, can't say that I hate him. It was more the way he 'controlled' some situations that I disliked.
