I was wondering if anyone has any information about this film and when it will be out?! I was in this film and have been told many things...it was suppose to premiere at Sundance (never did), it was being released in April (never was) and there was to be a small premiere of sorts in Schenectady (don't think there ever was!). Internet searches only provide me with information that is over a year old. It amazes me what movies go straight to DVD, that they even end up on store shelves...this movie should be better than so many that I have seen, so I don't understand why they just don't release it on DVD if they won't be putting it in theaters.

Dont hold your breath.....there will be a remake of "The Doberman Gang" before you see this thing come out on flick.

I was in this film and also work at a video store...I have finally found this movie as being listed for a straight to DVD release in May 2009, so we will soon see!

Proposed cover art looks nice! But please don't pay $26.95 for a single DVD. Good God.

Too bad about going straight to video. I was hoping that it would have a run at the Theaters. It all has to do with financing backing up the movie. I don't understand how really bad movies make it to the theaters and some smaller but good ones to not.

I just watched this movie on TV tonight, April 3rd. It was shown on Lifetime Movie Network. Not sure when/if it will be aired again on TV, but maybe look at lifetime's website for more information.

The film premieres tonight at the Wisconsin Film Festival in Madison, Wisconsin. The events took place in Madison in the late 1970s and early '80s, so needless to say there's great excitement here.

Gov. Jim Doyle, who was then the district attorney who prosecuted the case, will be in the audience with his buddy who wrote the book, also called "Winter of Frozen Dreams."

The film will be shown in a theater at Madison's Sundance Cinemas for at least a week starting April 10.

This movie will be released in May, but it was on the LMN network last week! Look for me in the bar scene as the waitress, I walk with the camera as it pans across the room! Extras will also be pleased to know we are listed in the CREDITS! Under "thanks to:" Awesome!
