Wake is going to open the Cinequest film festival in San Jose on February 25th, 2009. Looks like there is an after party too, where you can meet the cast!!! Hopefully this will lead to a distributor for the film!
shareJust seen it. She was good in the movie, and the film was good, except for the ending. The way everything was tied together was so ridiculous that most of the audience laughed. I don't want to spoil it, 'though. She was beautiful and very quirky in the movie.
Also, Jane Seymour was wearing her "hearts open" necklace, which took you 'out of' the film. It was distracting.
Yay! Thanks for the update. Would you say that the film is more comedy than drama? What was Bijou's character like? Bijou gets a bad rep for always playing trampy girls, I'm hoping this role will showcase her acting without the trash factor! :)
