Ian Somerhalder Is Impressive

I am a HUGE Vampire Diaries fan. This is the first film I've seen with Ian. I thought he was impressive in this role. The film is a bit offbeat but the overall story was different. I hope to find with his other films that he is able to bring uniqueness and diversity to them as well.

I'm catching it on TV right now, and looked it up online to learn about it.

I don't think he's very good. Half of his problem is the dialogue written for him but no one in this film is selling it to me so far.

It isn't a fantanstic movie. The whole thing isn't any kind of big production but for what it did amount to and considering what he had to work with, I thought he did a very good job. I'm sure now that his popularity with Vampire Diaries that he'll have better film offers and be able to show his abilities.

chapinapril, I agree with you. Some people are too picky. The actors have to work with what they get, and if they're not doing it right, the producers/directors will say so. Some people like to blame the actors too much, but it often depends on the show and the lines the actors are given to work with.

I found Ian very likeable in the movie, and I think he's going to go places. Not to mention he's a gorgeous actor. He reminds me of Matt Bomer from White Collar. Two handsome, gorgeous men - one gay though (Matt) and one straight (Ian). If you line them up together, I don't know who will will the "more handsome" title.

This is my signature and I'm sticking to it. lol
