I thought this was much better than average of its type. There were some odd characteristics however.
The story began in Turkey in 1927, so why were they speaking Arabic?

The game was found in Turkey but suddenly without explanation the artifacts and the story switched to an island near Maine without any adequate explanation as to how considering that the discovers of the artifact were all killed somewhere (either Maine or Turkey).

Maine was part of the Turkey back in the day, you uneducated moron! Just kidding man! Have no idea why they even made this opening in Turkey. They could just save some money and make the movie with kids finding the game in this house, because the opening scene brought absolutely nothing to the plot. Oh wait, it brought Richard Tyson!
