Does it have an open ending?

Ok, for only a few bucks I'm willing to try this serie, but the only thing I need to know is: does it have an ending, or is it closing on a cliffhanger or something..

reply

It closes on a cliffhanger, with a story line that will never see the light of day.

reply

It ends on a cliff hanger, but one that can be easily adjusted to be a conclusive ending.

Semi-spoiler alert. I won't give away any of the how, just in general terms what they leave us with.

Flash wins. Ming loses. Dale's boyfriend is out of the picture, so her and Flash can get together, if you want them to. Flash's dad is alive and well. Planet Earth is saved.

There are a few things, like Ming's true fate and how Flash, Dale, and Zarkhov get home, that they left open for the sake of a second season, but assume he's dead and they do, and you get a nice conclusive ending.

thanx.. I'll think about it when my next buying spree is hitting my wallet ;)

Just finished the whole series for the first time and though I'm kinda miffed we didn't get another season, I'm kinda ok with the ending they gave us.

The ending acted as both a rounding off of the season long arc, and setting the stage for the following season which never came. So it's one of the "end of book 1" type of endings which means it wasn't a waste of my time watching it.

Well, to be fair zwixxx, for most fans of Flash Gordon, this low budget crap was a huge "waste of time". But, to each his own.

Swixxx- are you into masochism- self punishment is defined by watching this show.
