I own this movie and I really like it. I don't like all these negative comments. This movie is not about an asteroid, it's about family and love. The asteroid is just a tertiary character.

The copy I rented had bad sound. I couldn't enjoy it.

Yeah, I thought it was actually okay. If they had a bigger budget (and better actors), this could've been better than Deep Impact and Armageddon.

I actually liked it too. The music was bad in places and there was a role or 2 that wasn't acted very convincingly but over all it was ok. I actually haven't seen a movie that I would say that depicts what really will happen during the Rapture. When people disappear and are "caught up", cars will crash, planes will fall from the sky, I would expect chaos on a massive level. This movie was really tame but at least someone tried.
