I think Fred Olen Ray is straight and he fell on hard times and had to take whatever opportunities came his way. I might also add that Monique Gabrielle has done lesbian porn and her boyfriend had something to do with those productions.
I suspect that the horror film industry went into a deep funk and the work just dried up and everybody had to make compromises...
