im from canada and ive been the states hundreds of times. As a foreigner i can be unbiased when i talk about americans.

This show picks out the dumbest people from who applies. There are so many people in america, and since things are cheap and its easy to be successful in the states, even the dumbest, most useless people have the potential to be on tv to win money.

Thats one thing that people forget when they hate on america. Unlike most countries with a population of its size, just about everyone in america has the ability to make their voice heard and represent their population.

In most other countries, people of this quality live on the streets and/or just dont survive long, and most definitely would not have the potential to be on a tv show to win money.

In america everything is so cheap and theres so much availability of just about anything. Even us canadians (who are basically america lite) are amazed at their selection and prices. The prices are much lower than ours, and our money is worth more lol.

It just sucks when americans complain about how hard life is in america lol. Thats the reason the world hates on them and no other reason.

Not really. Read the post again.

They state that the people shown one the show are among the most stupid in America (while they don't seem to be going for the level of contestant you see on Jeopardy, I wouldn't say they target the stupidest ones) and that you are lucky to have what you have got.

While people do pile on Americans needlessly and forget the good some portions of the US Population do, the level of ignorance among Americans about things outside your borders, even among people that do well on Jeopardy (and are otherwise very smart people) is staggering sometimes.

Compared to most Americans incomes, things are NOT CHEAP by any means. You are completely insane.

Most of the world never sees the Americans who complain about having a hard life. Most of the world only sees our idiot politicians.
