Opinions?

As a big fan of Diagnosis Murder I'm glad to see Dick Van Dyke and Barry back on TV solving murders. Sadly I haven't seen this new show yet as it hasn't aired in the UK. So is this show any good? Obiviously Diagnosis Murder was hardly ground breaking TV but it was good cheesey fun. How does Murder 101 compare?

I am at the moment watching Murder 101 and I have just realised that it is not they are not play Father/son in this on. But apart from that, it is just the same. What I do not realise is why?

I want to see these movies, they only seem to air randomly on Hallmark. I hope to see this on DVD though.

They're actually showing it right now on Five. It's almost the same as DM, they're just not related in this one....

On the Murder 101 earlier today, I believe it was Dick's grandson also included - son of Barry? And some time back, in one of the DM episodes, his daughter played a part in which she was murdered. Talented family!!

I'm glad to see them working on a new series. I know most of the DM stoies by heart.

Hello, All,

My DVR failed to record the last half an hour of this show [Urrrr] so can someone please write 'spoiler' on the heading and tell me what happens at the end and who did it? I saw all the way until the young med student [the one who had an affair with Archer] was talking to the detective and was suddenly startled by a car.

Thanks!
Sharypowell.

Since the relationship between Dick & Barry's characters are simply 'friends' not relatives, much of the chemistry is lost. Also, Except for the possibility of Barry's son, who plays 'Zach', I don't see the supporting cast being as charming. It's sort of like methadone for Diagnosis Murder...
