Some people still call the airport? Or the airline? Hmm. I thought this was a credibility goof; surely her kids have Internet and she could have checked his flight status online. EVEN IF she'd done that first and they'd showed her on the computer, THEN making the phone call, I think it would have been more current. I think the screenplay writer who rewrote this from the book messed up big time.
Obviously, JMO. I enjoyed the movie otherwise - it was OK.
her kids were gone for the weekend, they were with their dad.....secondly she was trying to find out if he was on the flight - that is why she asked to speak to a supervisor - you can't find out passenger information on the computer so I am pretty sure the screenplay writer dind't mess up, at all. And yes some people still call the airport/airline.....beleive it or not there are people out there that don't own computers and gasp, some that do but that don't have them connected to the internet.
shareNah, I still stand by my previous statement. Had they shown her on the computer FIRST and then calling the airline/airport, it would have made more sense (IMO, obviously).
