So Disappointing

I listened to this book on my ipod and just saw the movie tonight. I was so disappointed in the movie. I understand that a lot gets changed in the transition from book to movie but this one was way off. The story line was almost completley changed. The movie chracters did not even come close to having the depth of the chracters in the book. The house was too dark on the outside and too kookie on the inside. From the book, I got the impression of a cozy beachy feel to the house but I didn't get that from the movie at all.
I could go on and on but you get the idea. I thought they should have stayed with the original story line. I really like the actors in other things. My problem the actors in this movie was the interpretation of the characters. Very disappointing.
