I really did enjoy this movie. The colours were beautiful, the story was cliche, and the fact that it had Diane and Richard in it, made it hard for me to not enjoy it. Guess I focused more on them, then the actual movie. But I did enjoy it!

It was a beautiful movie and a heart-wrenching story - but the gift of this movie is that it gives hope that a love like this can truly exist - that people can be so good to each other AND that change is possible (like Richard's character changing to someone more compassionate.) I don't know why so many people panned it. I was completely immersed in the beauty of this film from start to finish.
