Again this was a great movie, beautiful all the way to the end. Two questions although.
1. What is the name that DR. Henry and the Nurse call the baby's condition it sounded as if it started off with an "M". Or Mul? something. Is that what they called babies with downs back then.

2 Is this a Boats movie? (Based on a True Story)

It's based on a story that was told to the author by her pastor. But in the real version the father put his son in an institution and he ended up dying in there. All the characters from the book and their lives are made up.

Slight correction: it's Mongoloid (there was an extra "o" in angeldreamer's response).

There is an explanation about why people with Down's Syndrome were called Mongoloid years ago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoloid.
