Yeah, I'm a big horror/zombie fan. It will be interesting to see how CBS handles zombies. I can't remember ever watching any of their other dramatic programming, but I really hope it is good. For me as a fan and for Ray Stevenson because I really liked Titus Pullo on Rome.

I have been a fan of Ray Stevenson since the movie King Arthur came out. I'm looking forward to seeing this show. I think that they just finished shooting this week, hopefully it will get picked up.

Where exactly does it say something about "zombies"?

reply

I was wondering the same thing. It doesn't specifically say anything about zombies, just "The dead return to earth in an attempt to restore old wounds"
that could mean many things.
Plus it's listed as a "drama". It's probably an "intelligent" take on the zombie genre.
I wish the plot said "the dead return to earth to feast on the flesh of the living"
now THAT would be a CBS show i'd watch
;)

I doubt they will be real zombies in that they will eat you

CBS:

Pickup -- "Babylon Fields," an hourlong zombie-themed hour described by CBS as a "sardonic, apocalyptic American comedy-drama where the dead are rising and as a result, lives are regained, families restored and old wounds reopened." Gerald Cuesta and Michael Atkinson wrote the pilot and will serve as supervising producers. Michael Cuesta, who directed the pilot for "Dexter," will exec produce and helm via 20th Century Fox Television.

If its not a zombie based show, then I'm simply not watching it. How lame would this show be if ghosts came back to haunt their family? Lets see Medium and Ghost Whisperer.

A zombie show would be so sweet. let george A Romero guest direct a few episodes.

That's bullcrap. I hope Winters gets pciked up by some network, its fromthe makers of House.

Yes. George WAS going to do a Zombie TV series using different characters every week. But the execs wanted a love interest in it and reacuring characters. So he said no.

I would honestly DIE a happy man if he did one. :(

You can't say that for sure, they might air it in the fall. CBS is waiting for another monster based show to air on another station first to see how the public likes it.
