Question about Martine and Gordy? (spoilers)

Towards the end of the movie Gordy and Martine are in the room together and Gordy I'd on top of Martine and you just see them looking into each others eyes, and in the next scene they are acting like they're dating and they switched shirts... So did they do it? The only reason I'm asking is because it doesn't seem like Martine would do that, and they barely knew each other.

I didn't infer that they had sex, I just figured that they had a moment. Because it didn't seem to me either like Martine would do that. And they barely knew each other. And she was 15.

But I guess it's possible?

"And then he started cheating...especially at magnetic travel scrabble."

Do we ever actually learn her age?

Didn't Gordy say she was 15? I wondered if they actually had sex too.

Yeah it does mention her age sometime in the film. (Forgot which scene it was)
I kinda thought they just messed around together, like making out and stuff.

Martine WOULD do that because she had done that with guys before (like the guy we see her hanging around in the begining). It's not out of character.

When Gordy said that if he kissed her he would get over his obsession with her and she got upset because through out the film it's revealed that she just wants to be loved and cared for not thrown aside. Gordy proves that he cares and even tells her that, THEN they have that moment.

I believe they did do it. (are you allowed to say sex on imdb? I know they are pretty strict...) She trusted him and started to find the 'annoying' things he did endearing and he liked her from the start. Even though they met a few days before I think they really fell for each other.

As M Jamie30 indicates, it is implied that Martine had sex, or at least fooled around, with the guy who disses her at the beginning of the movie. He says "It was a mistake. I was drunk." So she goes off with Eddie b/c her feelings are hurt. This is indeed also why she gets so angry with Eddie in the hotel room for saying that if he could just kiss her he could forget about her.

As for her age, it is mentioned only once when Gordy dismisses one of Martine's comments by saying "You're only 15" or "You're like 15."

But Gordy doesn't know how old Martine is. That's just his guess. KStew turned 18 in the year the movie was released (2008), so she herself was probably 17 when it was filmed (unless there was a delayed release).

As for Martine & Eddie, it is implied that they had sex, but it isn't certain. I think you have to conclude that they did a little something, but if you prefer to think that they didn't go all the way, noone can say for sure that you're wrong.

Wow, I did not catch that at all. I'm going to think they didn't do it, because that would really ruin their hitherto nice, slow-burning relationship. I really hate it when characters just do it. It's like it's not enough to have those small moments, they always have to make them lead to sex.

I only do it with superheroes.

"switched shirts" ... hmm, yeah. But it does bring up the question: where did Martine get a change of clothes, since she left town on a whim? Gordy changes clothes several times during the film -- not surprising since he's on a road trip at the start. Martine, at some point, takes off the red underlayer (probably leotard and capri tights), but otherwise has the same top on -- until just BEFORE this incident. Yes, while she is looking at Gordy's scrapbook, she's wearing a green T-shirt -- which she must have borrowed from Gordy, since she didn't have anything packed. She at that point she's already reached a level of comfort that she can ask to wear one of his shirts.

Now, as you point out, they then switch shirts before coming outside where Brett is waiting. And there's a look on her face just before the cut. Nonetheless, I'm abstaining ...
