This might not be the best source, but it's all over the internet, just take a look.

I loved him on Mad TV, but man. This show deserved to be canceled, and it was.

YES!!

YEEEESSSS!!! PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY! FREE AT LAST, WE ARE FREE AT LAST!!

Just read this, too, and much like yourself, the guy is not untalented. There are just so many limitations placed not only on a sketch show, but a ONE MAN sketch show. I don't know if TBS thought they could scrimp on cast because this guy did everybody, or if it was Frank's call. Even adding some players this year didn't help. Frank (or his people) were too busy putting out self-serving, fabricated ratings reports about how this was "The biggest premiere of a new show!" and "we were the number one show for 11pm...on basic cable...in rural communities...between the ages of 40 and 42..."

Then why was everyone beating the s*** out of it online? And big Frank never getting it through his head that NEW material is a MUST. Recycling the same crap may work for your Leno/Letterman appearances, but when you're helming your own show, you'll soon be drowning.

Eh, Frank will be fine. Even with the NFL Sunday viewers complaining about his schtick, he gets a two-year contract extension (can't imagine what it's worth for working five minutes a week). And there's always Vegas.

And...THE BASEBALL PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR WILL BE FRANK FREE!!! OOONGOWWA!!

Frank had a great run on Mad TV, and all of his appearances on talk shows, not to mention his successful stand-up... well, maybe someone thought he could be a one-man show. But that's rough, to think it would work. I mean, the Pacino/De Niro split screen movie review segment proves it - you need someone else who is ACTUALLY THERE to work off of.

I liked the guy they added to the Frank TV cast, the one who did the spot-on Harrison Ford impression. But even the skits he was in were lacking in funny.

You make a good point - even though his show is getting canceled, he'll be just fine. He is very talented, but you can't expect him to run the whole show by himself, that's just ignorant.

And he was reusing a lot of material on the show, though that has been stated many times on this message board. Even though there was a lot of weight on his shoulders, I still think he could have made Frank TV better than it was.

It was actually better the second season by not having some audience member up on stage like in season 1. That was a terrible segment. I also liked the Harrison Ford/Bill OReilly dude as well. Frank was spot-on with so many of these impressions. We'll miss the show.

He called me Greenhorn ... and I called him Tony Randall.
