I can't believe Tom Hanks isn't in this movie!!!

He was so good in the first one - that's a serious snub. I bet Hanks is maaaaad.

hell yeah! i bet he's pissed. he blew it. he could of stopped making academy award nominated movies and made straight to dvd ones like this, what a dumb move on his part.

You are thinking too narrowly on this. Hanks could've brought star power to this and this movie could've been a best picture nominee. But no - they do it on the cheap and it will bomb. After Hanks remade this with class and made it became critically acclaimed, he could've done a Bossom Buddies movie and had a similar effect. And don't get me started on Joe vs. The Volcano.

Hanks had such a big change in his career - this is the perfect opportunity to piece everything together.

I doubt Tom Hanks would've been involved even if this was a big-budget theatrical film. This is sex comedy stuff.

Hanks is probably just as sick of sequels as the rest of us are. Why in the WORLD did they remake the classic. Morons.

ever occur to anyone that he turned any role in this movie down?

He probably didn't even know the film was made.

None of the original characters returned, so I think its clear the studio never attempted to bring back Tom or anyone for that matter.

Though a reunion sequel would be kick ass.
