what exactly does sanky panky mean?

I'm Dominican but I've never heard the term before.
BTW, this movie was really surprisingly good. I've watched it four times already and it's just as hysterical as the first time. Despite some of the faux-gringo acting.

its a bad alliteration of "hanky panky", which is the favorite activity of male prostitutes in the DR, especially with European women.

As for the faux-gringo acting...it was fun to see a send up. The Americans were as vulgar, ridiculous and loveable as the Dominicans. But couldn't they have found an aunt and a boyfriend who actually had non-Dominican accents in English. They were all totally fluent in English but still had noticeable island accents. Given that they were supposed to be playing total gringos, that was a bit of an error, but still lots of fun. I want to see the star in many more things.

Given that the film was originally for a Dominican audience, the American accents being off wasn't such a big deal. It would be like a US movie in which people are speaking in Russian or Dutch accents, and Americans (who don't speak those languages) couldn't really tell, but Russian or Dutch speakers could. I also really liked the movie a lot, though it came pretty close to minstrelsy a few times. I was amazed at how much of the real DR it showed, even if in cartoon version.
