Just Watching the first episode...noticed something similar

Is anyone but me reminded of the video game Jet Set (Jet Grind) Radio while watching it...

The police are pulling up in the first episode and I can't help but think about the game.

Yeah my and my brothers were thinking the same thing when we watched it, we're all huge JSR fans...we happened to catch in on the anime network.

I saw the first 2 ep. on demand. I was thinking too that it could make a good video game.

the series just makes me long for JSR to have a sequel. besides now that i look at this anime, could be a set for a JSR anime ^_^

It hit me during the credits. The cityscape looks JUST like the game!
And the little girl with long blue hair and sleeves reminds me of "Shorty" on the video game Bust-A-Groove (PS1).

Actually, I think the cityscape looks familiar because in both Air Gear and JSRF they used Tokyo as a reference. The whole end credits sequence is live-action, so if the city looks like the one in the game, that's because it pretty much is.

im a massive jet set radio fan. i heard the soundtrack to this on youtube (uneasiness of funkness) and it reminded me of the game. im looking for somewhere to watch it online though, it looks pretty good.
And jet set radio would make such a good anime

Yeah I still love Jet Grind Radio, I still play Jet Set Radio Future on the X-box when i can. This anime though seem to only remind me of a cheap inline skating Tenjo Tenge. The only thing that reminded me of JSR where the skates.

I was thinking the samething,With Jet Grind radio.That was a cool game on the dreamcast.All Air Gear needed was a lil graffitti.
