Most of my posts are generally sarcastic and cynical..
...but...
I got this off a friend and sat on it for a good two months before watching it and I just finished it. I can't really think of anything bad to say about it. No pretense toward addressing any of the world's major issues, no attempt to jerk guilt or tears from the audience. Not even really a whole lot about worthless fathers who abort their families and start over, and the spiteful mothers left to raise the kids, although both themes are touched on. And mostly to the film's credit, no cheesy redemption theme to the effect of "Oh, we are all half brothers, blah blah blah can't we just get along?"
This is a movie I can sit down and have a beer with. Well done.
